One of the highpoints of Chef April's career was at the prestigious Seasons Restaurant at the Bostonian Hotel, where he held the position of Executive Sous Chef and worked under famous Executive Chefs Lydia Shire and William Poirier. During this time, Chef April was rated in "Top Four Sous Chefs in US" (New York Times). Chef April them moved on to the position of Executive Chef for Creative Celebrations (Somerville, MA), recognized as one of Boston's leading catering organizations (Best of Boston Magazine, 1990).
